| Claire came to France in 1991 and just forgot to go home. She translated from French to English, dabbled in Spanish to English, and filled in the long empty seconds between translations teaching translation, training to be an interpreter, playing the violin, learning to speak cat, and enjoying La Vie Parisienne. Picture taken at home in January 2000, enjoying an apéritif...or was it breakfast? Claire passed away on 10 November 2009, following childbearing complications. |
